Coplay Hosts Craft Fair in Spring – Times News Online

The Spring Craft and Vendor Fair, sponsored by the Coplay Park and Recreation Committee, was hailed as a success by organizers and attendees.

A steady stream of shoppers were present throughout the two-day event on April 23-24 at the Coplay Parkway Pavilion, 2 Keefer St.

The fair included a raffle of baskets with items donated by the various traders.

A promotional statement from the fair’s sponsors was, “Come join us and see what our vendors have cooked up during this cold winter. Look for these unique gifts and related items. »

Coplay Mayor Stephen Burker noted that Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are fast approaching. He urged the public to go out and buy something unique.

Nearly 40 vendors and artisans were present peddling their wares.

A notable supplier was Alana Danois of Allentown, who operates Chingona Makes. She sold sweets and other homemade items like handbags. Visit Facebook and search Chingona Makes for more information.

Also in attendance was popular Coplay crafter Keith Sodl, who mine Zuzu’s memories. Sodl’s motto is “Quality memories to cherish for generations”. Zuzu’s offers paints and specialty wood items from Sodl. Visit Facebook and search Zuzu’s memorabilia for more information.

Incredibly detailed woodworking items were available at Woodcuts by Bill. It featured custom signs, custom wood crafts, and custom bowl turnings, all handmade. Call 484-264-1228 for more information.

Wanderer Supply Company operator Ethan Hassick of Allentown sold a range of shirts, patches, buttons and key rings. Visit thewanderersupplyco.com to see their products for sale.

Another talented crafter from Coplay was Tiffany Benson, who operates Crafty Creations. She offered a selection of homewares and other handicrafts. Visit Facebook and search for T’s Crafts and Creations.

Coplay Sports volunteers were on hand to sell hot dogs, fries and drinks.

Profits from the event will be shared by several non-profit organizations. Recipients will be selected by the Coplay Park and Recreation Committee at an upcoming meeting.
